Know what you have before the truck arrives.
One item master, one stock ledger. Every receipt, issue, transfer and dispatch writes a line to it, so the balance you see on the phone is the balance in the store.
What it produces
- Item master
- FG, RM, BOP, consumables, tools and packing. HSN is mandatory and eight digits. Full names everywhere a human reads them.
- Stock ledger
- Date, document, in, out, balance, per item and per warehouse.
- Material issue
- Issued to a work order or a job card; what the floor consumed against what the BOM said.
- Stock transfer
- Between warehouses with a challan the driver can carry.

When an item hits its reorder level the supervisor gets a push notification that opens the item, and a requisition is one tap away.

Trace any lot both ways
Type a batch number. A raw-material lot traces forward to every finished-goods lot and customer it reached; a finished lot traces back to the material issued against its work order. Quarantine the affected lots in one tap, then raise the NCR.
